Factory & Manufacturing IT Setup
Industrial-grade networks, shop-floor terminals and production visibility, built for dust, heat, vibration and shifts that cannot stop.
Built to B2B standard — nothing extra
Every solution here is design craftsmanship built strictly around business-to-business needs: only the modules your operation actually uses, no bloat, no features you pay for and never touch. We start by consulting with you to define the best-fit solution, then build it to that scope.
Live demo & session notes
Stress the industrial difference: ruggedised hardware, network segmentation and installation planned around shutdown windows. Ask whether their machines and office PCs share one flat network — the answer is usually yes.
The problem
A garment and light-assembly plant was running production on whiteboards and end-of-shift paper counts. Office-grade Wi-Fi kept dropping in the production hall, the scale and label printers sat on an unsegmented network alongside office PCs, and management only learned about a line stoppage at the next morning''s meeting.
What we built
We designed and installed a plant-wide IT and OT foundation: industrial switches and ruggedised access points with full production-hall coverage, a segmented network separating machines, office and guest traffic, shop-floor terminals and barcode scanners at each station, live production dashboards on line-side screens, CCTV integration, UPS-backed core equipment, and remote monitoring so we see a fault before the plant manager calls.
The result
Unplanned network downtime on the production floor dropped to near zero. Output data that used to arrive the next morning became visible live, and average response time to a line stoppage fell from over an hour to under 10 minutes.
What it does, in plain English
Industrial network
Ruggedised switches and access points rated for heat, dust and vibration, not office hardware in a metal box.
Network segmentation
Machines, office and guests separated, so a single infected PC cannot reach the production line.
Shop-floor terminals
Scanners and touch terminals at each station for job, batch and quality capture as work happens.
Live production boards
Line-side screens showing target versus actual, so a shift sees its own performance without waiting for a report.
CCTV & access control
Camera and door access integrated into the same managed infrastructure and retention policy.
Remote monitoring
We watch switches, links and UPS health continuously and act on faults before a shift is disrupted.
Good for your business if…
- • Wi-Fi and cabling in the plant were never designed for an industrial environment
- • Machines and office PCs currently share one flat network
- • You want production numbers live rather than at the next morning meeting
Consider carefully if…
- • You need full MES or SCADA control system engineering as the primary scope
- • Your plant is fully greenfield with no confirmed floor plan or machine list yet
- • Only a small office adjacent to the plant needs IT support
Enterprise tier: plant survey, industrial network design, installation during shutdown windows, shop-floor hardware and monitoring. Typical delivery is 8 to 16 weeks, phased around production schedules.
