The problem
A regional services firm moved into a new 90-desk Bangkok office with an eight-week deadline. Five different vendors were quoting cabling, internet, phones, Wi-Fi and servers separately, with nobody owning the overall result. The previous office had grown by improvisation: unlabelled cables, a switch under a desk, and no documentation when staff left.
What we built
SWS Group took single ownership of the build. We surveyed the floor plate, produced a rack and cabling layout, ran structured Cat6A cabling to every desk and access point, installed and configured the rack, firewall, switches and controller-managed Wi-Fi, set up redundant internet with automatic failover, migrated file storage and email, joined every device to central management, and handed over labelled documentation with an as-built diagram. Staff moved in over one weekend.
The result
The office went live on schedule with zero downtime on move-in Monday. One vendor, one point of contact, one warranty. Support tickets in the first quarter were 70 percent lower than the old office, and new-hire setup dropped from half a day to under 20 minutes.
