The problem
A trading and light assembly company with three warehouses had outgrown spreadsheets but was quoted an 18-month, seven-figure ERP implementation they could neither afford nor absorb. Stock counts never matched the system, purchasing ordered items already sitting in another warehouse, and month-end close took three weeks of reconciliation.
What we built
We built a mini ERP scoped strictly to what they actually run: multi-warehouse inventory with barcode receiving and picking, purchase requisitions through to goods receipt, sales orders through to delivery note and invoice, simple bill of materials for assembly, and financial reporting that reconciles to their accountant''s chart of accounts. No modules they would never open.
The result
Stock accuracy rose from 82 percent to 99.1 percent within four months. Duplicate purchasing effectively stopped once stock was visible across warehouses, and month-end close shortened from three weeks to four days.
